It is also chemical resistant so acidic foods, drinks, and chemicals will not dull or etch the surface like it would a marble or other natural stone. Porcelain slabs are not full-bodied, meaning the edges of the slabs do not carry the same pattern or design as the surface of the slab. We typically recommend drop edges for porcelain, giving you a custom option on how thick the countertop looks.

The manufacturing process applies 5,000PSI of pressure at 2200F degrees which sinters and fuses the particles together. The technological process uses an accelerated version of the metamorphic changes that natural stone undergoes from exposure to high pressure and high temperatures for thousands of years. This is a product that is long lasting and completely weatherproof. Every slab is resistant to acids, alkalis, deep abrasions, fire, frost and is unaffected by UV rays.
